Hello, I’m Jennifer, an integrative counsellor.

Being integrative means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, tailoring our work to suit your unique needs. Together, we’ll explore your story with fresh, compassionate eyes, helping you gain new insight into how you respond to life’s challenges and how you make sense of your experiences.

I believe many people find themselves stuck in patterns that make self-kindness feel out of reach, and over time, this can erode their sense of self. My approach embraces the whole person, supporting healing and growth across emotional, physical, and relational dimensions. The aim is to help you move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

I offer support with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, ADHD, bereavement, workplace stress, life as a carer, and the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community.

 

My work is trauma-informed, grounded in an understanding of how trauma can shape the nervous system, relationships, and sense of safety. I also incorporate techniques that promote emotional regulation and distress tolerance, tools that can be especially valuable for those living with the long-term effects of trauma and adversity.

Life can be complex, and at times it may feel like one challenge after another. Counselling offers a confidential and supportive space to explore those challenges at your own pace.

 

Past experiences may still be influencing how you feel and respond today, and navigating that alone can feel overwhelming. My role is to walk alongside you, offering a compassionate space where you can feel accepted and your story appreciated. It’s always an honour to do this work.
